Introduction

Established in 2011, Asia Media Forum, Nepal (AMF-Nepal) is a media organization of the working journalists that has been consistently providing synergy and support to the working journalists across the country. It is supported by six provincial coordinators and strong network of 350 working journalists across the country.


AMF was active since 2004 in the form of a loose network to promote the capacity of the working journalists all over Asia to promote news research and innovation, exchange of views and best practices for professional and career development and protection of journalists.

Samabeshi Bahas Episode 1

The First Episode of “Samabesi Bahas” is based on report on Symposium titled : ” Ethnicity and Federalism”. The academics and scholars from Nepal, The United Kingdom, The United States of America, Canada, and Australia presented, in total , 24 papers. It was very encouraging presentation as it ignited very lively debates among the academics and scholars on the fundamentals of the ethnicity and federalism in Nepal. The symposium was organized by the Central Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Tribhuwan University. Samabesi Bahas broadcast on Nepal Television on a fortnightly basis involved prominent academics and scholars who participated in the four-day symposium.
